She doesn’t care about the Alexander family’s closure.
When she was first interviewed by police and said she was not there, she said if she’d done it, she’d be begging for the death penalty. Then she had an interview after the verdict of guilty of first degree murder was read, she said she’d rather die than be sentenced to life. Now she says she doesn’t believe in capital punishment.
She’s a liar, nothing will change that.
Joe Arpaoio has cut her off from the press. And today, we found out that after all these months, and testimony, and convicting her of first degree murder…they couldn’t bring themselves to sentence her to death or life in prison; today, the results were in; the jury is hung, and the penalty phase will have to be tried over again.
So sad for Travis Alexander’s family that they can’t put this behind them yet.
